This increase came into effect on April 1st of 2023, and was divided into two parts: an initial 15% and an additional 4%,which became effective from February 1st, 2024.   Starting this February, **employees of** **large companies** who earn a salary of 24,150 Dominican pesos will experience a **4% increase**, thus completing the **original 19% increase approved** by the NSC, resulting in a total salary of **24,990 Dominican pesos.** **Employees of medium-sized companies** earning 22,138 Dominican pesos will see their salary increase to 22,908 Dominican pesos, completing the 19% increment.
