#CostaRica 🇨🇷 #BDS_Informs: Key Aspects of the December 1st Holiday

Next Sunday, December 1st, Costa Rica will commemorate “Abolition of the Army Day,” a national holiday that, pursuant to article 148 of the Labor Code, is considered a non-mandatory paid holiday.

Will this holiday be moved to another date?

No. As with other holidays observed this year, the holiday must be granted on the same day of the week on which the celebration falls.

In this case, the holiday must be enjoyed by workers on Sunday, December 1st, in accordance with article 148 bis of the Labor Code.
