Additionally, as of March 10 of this year, the General Labor Inspection Office adopted a new criterion regarding the pricing authorization for the Special Activities Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, established on June 13, 2024. Among other aspects, this criterion regulates the fees for the first-time certification of workplace registration and the annual update certification. Previously, the certification fee was $50.00 for first-time registration and $25.00 for the annual update, regardless of the number of establishments operated by the employer.
Under this new criterion, the fee structure has been modified as follows:
- $50.00 per workplace for first-time registration.
- $25.00 per workplace for the annual update certification.
It should be noted that the revenue collected for these services must be deposited into the "General Treasury Office - Third-Party Funds in Custody - Special Activities Fund" account of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
