#DominicanRepublic 🇩🇴 #BDS_LaborAlert: Senate Approves Labor Reform Bill

After a year of analysis, the Senate approved in second reading the labor reform bill amending various articles of the Labor Code.

The bill was passed with 22 votes in favor, keeping the current severance regime unchanged.

The bill will now be sent to the House of Representatives for review and possible final approval.

If ratified, this bill would mark another step forward in the process of modernizing the labor framework, while upholding the principles of stability and legal certainty in employment relationships.
