#DominicanRepublic 🇩🇴 #BDS_LaborAlert: Ministry of Labor Extends Deadline for Annual Fixed Staff Payroll (DGT-3) Registration

On January 14, the Ministry of Labor announced an extension of the deadline for the registration of the Fixed Staff Payroll (DGT-3) until January 31, 2026, in accordance with Article 15 of Regulation No. 258-93 for the application of the Labor Code.

This extension was authorized by Minister Eddy Olivares Ortega, to provide employers additional time to update information related to their companies, establishments, and workers. It also aims to facilitate the completion of the registration process in the “Integrated Labor Registration System,” which is a mandatory requirement for payroll renewal.

Once the new deadline has expired, labor inspectors will issue notices of non-compliance to employers who have failed to register their Fixed Staff Payroll (DGT-3), as reported by the Ministry of Labor.
