#ElSalvador 🇸🇻 #BDS_LaborAlert: Tax Exemption for Bonuses up to $1,500

The Legislative Assembly has approved a measure aimed at exempting from taxes bonuses that do not exceed $1,500. This initiative will benefit approximately 700,000 workers, both in the public and private sectors, easing economic burdens in households.

However, those workers who receive bonuses exceeding $1,500 will be required to pay taxes on the additional amount. This measure also takes into account cases where the bonus exceeds the limit by a few cents.

Finally, it should be noted that the deadline for the delivery of bonuses in our country is from December 12 to December 20.

I have a question
