#Nicaragua 🇳🇮 #BDS_LaborAlert: Minimum Wage Increased in Companies Subject to Free Zone Regime

Industries operating under the special Free Trade Zone regime in the national territory must implement, as of January 1, 2024, an 8% increase in the minimum wage for workers. This is in accordance with the third section of the Tripartite Agreement executed on October 21, 2022, in connection with "Labor and Productive Stability for Free Zones."

Considering that the 2023 salary was C$8,098.46 monthly, it is established that free zone employers should raise the minimum wage to C$8,746.46 per month for 2024.
