#CostaRica 🇨🇷 #BDS_LaborAlert: 2.37% Salary Increase, Effective January 2025

The National Wage Council (CNS in Spanish) approved on Wednesday, October 30, a salary increase for private sector minimum wages that will apply for 2025.

After reviewing the proposals from the involved sectors, a 2.37% increase was set for all wage categories.

Additionally, differentiated adjustments will be granted to domestic workers (an additional 2.33%) and, due to the standardization process, to the Monthly Specialized work category (0.55%).

According to the agreement established by the National Wage Council (CNS), the increase will take effect on January 1, 2025.
