#DominicanRepublic 🇩🇴 #LaborAlertBDS: Updated COVID-19 Measures Adopted in Dominican Republic

On May 17, 2020 the following Presidential Decrees were enacted:

Decree 160-20, which extends the state of emergency applicable throughout the national territory for an additional 15-day period as from Monday May 18, 2020.

• Decree 161-20, which extends the curfew until June 1st, 2020, with the following variations: Mondays through Saturdays, from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am / Sundays from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am

Based on statements issued by President Danilo Medina on May 17, 2020 at 8 pm, the first stage of a gradual reopening plan will begin on Wednesday May 20, 2020. The High-Level Commission will soon provide further information about the plan’s details and about the mandatory hygiene and prevention protocols.
