On October 22, Mr. Gustavo Segura, Minister of Tourism, confirmed that as from October 26 Costa Rica will not require a PCR COVID-19 negative test for tourists to enter the country by air, and also stated that no sanitary confinement warning will be handed to tourists when entering the country.
Some of the requirements to enter Costa Rica include the following:

1. Fill in the Health Entry Form (Pase de Salud).
2. National or international health insurance covering medical and accommodation expenses arising from the COVID-19 disease.

Finally, we remind you that Costa Rican air borders will be reopened for all countries as from November 1st, 2020, and therefore tourists will no longer be required to prove their residence at the relevant authorized State.
