Update of the Procedure for Registration of Bipartite Committee

 

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has updated the Registration Procedure of the Bipartite Committee, since this procedure use to be carried out personally, however, with the updating of the Ministry of Labor made available on its website an electronic platform for occupational health and safety.

 

The interested party must enter https://dgps-sso.mintrabajo.gob.gt and create a user, in which the documents requested as requirements must be uploaded electronically, the request is evaluated by the Ministry of Labor within 5 working days, and if all the requirements are met, a Committee Registration Certificate will be issued and it will carry a QR code to certify its validity by the labor inspectors or technicians of the Occupational Health and Safety Department, and it may be printed by the employer or applicant. A certain number of digital folios with QR code will be authorized so that the employer can download and include on them the Bipartite Committee records, on a monthly basis, when the folios run out, the authorization of new folios can be requested.
