The Ministry of Labor and Social Security (SETRASS) has recently approved the Regulation on the Certification of Compliance with Labor Legislation through Agreement No. SETRASS-323-2026, which was published in the Official Gazette on July 10, 2026.
The regulation establishes the procedure through which employers may voluntarily obtain an official certification attesting to their compliance with current labor legislation. Its purpose is to promote a compliance culture, strengthen the protection of labor rights, and recognize organizations that comply with their labor obligations.

The regulation also establishes the obligations applicable to certified employers, as well as the grounds for suspension or revocation of the certification.
Although participation in this certification program is voluntary, it represents an opportunity for organizations to strengthen their labor compliance management systems. Accordingly, companies are encouraged to review their internal policies, employment agreements, personnel files, and other legal obligations in order to assess their level of compliance and determine whether they are prepared to apply for this certification.
