On **June 30, 2026**, the Panamanian government, through the Ministry of Public Security, enacted **Executive Decree No. 12 of June 30, 2026**, published in the Official Gazette, eliminating the stamped visa requirement for Dominican nationals.

This new decree has the following immediate implications:

The decision is based on the strengthening of diplomatic and commercial relations, following a determination that the technical and security considerations that previously justified this requirement no longer exist.

This decree entered into force upon its publication, that is, **June 30, 2026**.

This amendment will significantly facilitate the entry of Dominican tourists, business executives, and entrepreneurs into Panama, allowing them to remain in the country for up to **ninety (90) days**, in accordance with general immigration legislation.
