This measure is a response to **adverse weather conditions** affecting much of the national territory, including forecasts of intense rainfall, rising river levels, urban flooding, and landslides. Provinces under yellow alert include the National District, Santo Domingo, Santiago, La Vega, Puerto Plata, San Cristóbal, San Pedro de Macorís, La Altagracia, Duarte, and Monte Plata. Meanwhile, San Juan and Dajabón remain under green alert. In this context, the labor authority urged companies to adjust their operations through **remote work and flexible schedules** to reduce employee exposure to weather-related risks.
