However, the **effective date of Chapter XVIII**, which **pertains to sanctions, has recently been postponed to January 1, 2026.** It is important to clarify that the *Special law on the inclusion of persons with disabilities* is already in effect; however, its sanctions chapter had previously been postponed until June 2023.
